I took a train from Guangzhou to Nanning and then a DiDi to the hotel.

English Address: No. 38 Xinmin Road, Xingning District, Nanning, Guangxi, 530012, China

Cost: CNY 1,190.00 (≈ US$169.86) for 5 nights in the Business Queen Room · 1 Room
Overall Rating - 2/5
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel necessarily. It felt kind of out of the way and to get to the main road if you wanted to take a scooter around was a small walk. Also, my hotel room smelled heavily of smoke and since I had come in so late, I didn’t want to deal with changing. Overall, this is a very dated hotel, and I’d recommend you look elsewhere. But supposedly, this is the same hotel that my parents stayed in when I was adopted, so I wanted to honor that.

Final Thoughts
Honestly, Nanning surprised me a lot. I had so much fun exploring the city by scooter and there were several photo spots that are worth checking out. It was also the first place that I got to see the iron flower performance and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
